What I do on worn out door hinges, “if” the new bushings don’t fit right in the hinge; I weld the hole shut and redrill the perfect size hole for the new hinge bushing. You are still miles ahead with the OEM hinge vs aftermarket.
You are 100% correct . Ive restored my share of cars in 40 years and nobody realizes the amount of time and effort it takes . Great video

Ok,so I watched till the end and I have no doubt that everything you say is true.I had a 55 stude done years ago by a man who was totally into the 50"s,he did 55 buick tailites,50 ford headlight rings,nosed & decked,etc.Came out beautiful,took him 2 months,he worked alone in his barn but He owned a body shop for 40 years(he made his money).You sound like you"ve had enough.Maybe call it quits or just work for somebody else,cause living a miserable life kinda sucks.Just say"in.
