Hello everyone, this video was one of the most difficult ones for me to do as i find it hard enough to open up to close friends and family.
however this has made me realise that there are probably far to many people that struggle to open up, leading to the situation worsening and eventually becoming the unthinkable.

Get it too buddy. But the grey clouds do pass takes time but it does happen. Just try take the positives in life and not to dwell on the bad chief.
Once you said if you cant afford to go for a hgv licence you probably cant afford not to.. that statement made me get my ass in gear. Thanks to your inspiration i passed my theory last week.. youve probably made a positive impact on so many ppl mate. Stay strong my brother and stay blessed
It says negative hartful things to anyone else. I am such an idiot; I'm a phony; I never do anything right; I will never succeed."
"The inner critic isn't harmless. It inhibits you, limits you, and stop you from pursuing the life you truly want to live. It robs you of peace of mind and emotional well-being and, if left unchecked long enough, it can even lead to serious mental health problems like depression or anxiety."
Good video friend as a man we feel it some kind of weakness but much more common than people realise, everybody deals with thing's different, what's an issue for you another would laugh off ,you have to go through the experience to understand but long hours v various shifts, night work, money issues can wear you down over time with out realising before your in trouble, always reach out to someone , anyone as much as you need you can get through and be stronger but it takes as long as it takes, months maybe year's but we all have a worth just stick with it .
I suffer with mental health and my anxiety playing up going into a 7 day fast track for my HGV C1 the worry of failing
Not a trucker ( yet 🤞) but always able to listen to any problems you have. Starting this channel was really smart as you can express yourself online, hopefully making the trips sometimes seem a little less lonely.
I have had a rough time after highschool as I didn’t know what I wanted to do for a job. I didn’t want to do University and had barely no career plan since I had no interests at the time. It was difficult and I was really upset just trying to find anything as a career choice. I even considered the army ( driver ironically ) but happened to get rejected due to anxiety in my medical records. Finding your channel and the information you gave about the life of a lorry or HGV driver, both pros and cons, has really helped me find motivation to get into it as a career. If it wasn’t for you, I would still be spiralling out of control with a job I wouldn’t want. Thank you for all the information and feedback to any of my questions, you’ve really helped me plan out my future.
I've been driving trucks for 10 years but, in that time, I've only had about 2 or 3 FULL TIME jobs, the reason being because its too highly exploitative like you say in this video (no family time, poor health, loneliness etc ) so I personally refuse to do it full time but, it's not good because I can't plan my life properly.
I think trucking in the UK is just not good as they simply do not respect us!
Your videos have helped many people including me pass my class 1. That’s pretty irrelevant compared to this video because if you only help one person who is feeling down, very good job! You have shown tremendous courage to say what you’ve said and I personally wish you happiness and health. Thank you 🙏🏻
Hey mate great video as always, very brave to put it out there.
Alot like yourself, I wasn't a firm believer in mental health, but when it happens it hits hard.
Keep doing what you're doing, get down the gym, it's huge. I get that same buzz when I get to go….
Think I see you the other week, going past hs2 sites on way to bicester, got all excited in me cab!
Ever need a chat always here bro. Keep up the content 👍
Thank you for discussing this and raising the awareness.
