Looks like he’s trying to direct traffic on an airstrip or something

Couple weeks ago our service manager called a customer telling him that we would have his truck fixed that day (He wanted that end of the month bonus of a 8k job) . It was a duallie cube van for a full rear end overhaul after grenading the differential in half and thoroughly coating every surface with metal flake. I got as far as full teardown and that was it. Best part is after I got the rear end all set up perfect, come to find out the transmission had a mysterious extra neutral where 2nd was supposed to be. Trucks still at the shop now 🙂

At least on the diesel side of things, I think most places have got the hint that they can only tick off a tech up to the point where they no longer care about moving tools. Not enough guys willing to turn a wrench these days.

Dude. I worked at a Toyota dealership as a tech. I know how it feels
