    Always a good idea to directly ground your work so you don't end up stray arc spots

    I had to watch this 7 times over to understand that you seemed to have permanently attached your ground to your work table, so you had to buy another lead. Just use the regular ground clamp dude

    I think ground is the wrong word to use. Return path makes more sense because people think of ground as the earth. Electricity always wants to return to the point of source.

    I try and tell the guys at work when they bridge a piece of tubing from their table to there work piece and that piece of tubing has to be used at some point on their project, that how they get all the damn arc marks everywhere..lol ..I have a 10' table cable to a ground clamp attached..those jumper cables tend to "Walk off" and ain't no damn body seen where they went or who got'm..story of my life..πŸ˜†πŸ’ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
