If you own a 2010 to 2017 GMC Terrain or Chevy Equinox with a V6 engine, here’s a step-by-step DIY how to guide for removing the old battery and replacing with a new one. The video also shows how to remove a stuck key due to a dead battery. If you every wondered where the battery is on a GMC Terrain, this video might help you. The GMC Terrain in this video has the 3.0 L LF1 or LFW V6, so double check your information if you have a 2.4 L LAF I4, 2.4 L LEA I4, or 3.6 L LFX V6. All GMC Terrains and Chevy Equinox have the ECM placed over the battery and must be removed with care.
