What happens if all these companies change all their machinery to build EV's and then 5 years from now something even better comes along or nobody is buying EV's he won't looks stupid then will he. I believe they are jumping into this way too fast.
I agree, Scotty! When they find a way to make hydrogen work my money is on hydrogen. But only to keep the U.S. and the rest of the world independent from Russia, China, OPEC, Venezuela, and all the other bad actor oil producers.
Good on Toyota… There are still many that question the validity of the so-called "climate crisis", many that realize economically the vehicles are out of reach for most people, technology that has yet to mature both on the vehicles and infrastructure, and that hybrids really are currently the only practical approach to EVs as they generate their own power and don't have the range limitations that pure EVs do.
Sounds like Toyota is keeping its options open, and listening to consumers, rather than blindly following a political agenda.
