Welcome to our new Petrolheadonism Series where we will be Discussing Mental Health with fellow Petrolhead’s about experiences, stress, depression, anxiety and the daily battle of life. Our aim is to help at least one person per video (hopefully many more) to realise that they are not suffering alone and life is tough but there is definitely a lot to look forward to – it can get better!
Over the new series we will be unmasking mental health in today’s current social climate and interviewing car enthusiast’s, helping you to find the courage to talk, speak up, be vocal and be heard. We’ve suffered mental health issues in our experiences so we can relate to how you may be feeling.
Episode 1 – This week we welcome Sam Hard of Hard Up Garage – thank you to Sam, we were able to travel to Atlanta and visit Ed Bolian to record some of our own stories for the VinWiki YouTube Channel. We discuss Bullying and being different, having the courage to be yourself and believing in yourself. We would like to thank Ed Bolian for his amazing hospitality, was a dream to film for VinWiki but also to host our first episode in the famous VinWiki Studio with all Ed’s memorabilia as our backdrop. It was a difficult conversation but one we felt it necessary to air – as 3 friends, we found out for the first time that being a teenager was probably one of the toughest times to follow our passion and dreams.

“The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is, you don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it, because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.” — Demi Lovato
“I found that with depression, one of the most important things you can realize is that you’re not alone. You’re not the first to go through it, you’re not gonna be the last to go through it,” — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
“I understand your pain. Trust me, I do. I’ve seen people go from the darkest moments in their lives to living a happy, fulfilling life. You can do it too. I believe in you. You are not a burden. You will NEVER BE a burden.” — Sophie Turner
“The experience I have had is that once you start talking about [experiencing a mental health struggle], you realize that actually you’re part of quite a big club.” — Prince Harry

Love this…was literally chatting to Scoot on Sunday on the way home about bullying and how the Petrolheadonism Community is one big family that looks out for everyone.
Ciro: you’re a legend without Petrolheadonism the pandemic could have been a whole much more depressing place without people being about to get out and about…especially back in 2020.
Sam: It’s a honour too call you a friend and getting to know you at Petrolheadonism Live was amazing, never change who are, I’ve honestly never laughed so much as when your around.
Scoot: Only really recently got to know you properly, but keep on the path your on and I’m sure you’ve got an awesome future on the cards 👍🏻
You've had the last laugh good on you bro gotta chase your dreams and follow your gut
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken 👊🏼Your existence alone requires you to be you 😊🙏🏼
This is amazing! This series will help a lot of people 🙂
Well done, this is excellent x
