Hey Scotty! I'm the daughter of the man who owns this car. We appreciate getting the chance to meet you and you are a very awesome and intelligent individual! Thank you so much for everything you do!
Have a 2007 Spectra with 220+k miles. Got used , original engine, uses no oil! Had other problems last few years, but not bad for 15 years!
Only problem now ,heater fan is sketchy
Going to see how long my k5 lasts. 30k on it and no oil burning yet
KIA's are junk doesn't matter where it's built..TOYOTA'S Rule…
I had 99 Jeep grand Cherokee 4.0 4×4, 97 Isuzu Rodeo 5spd 4×4, 2002 F350 7.3L diesel 6spd 4×4, and all three of them lasted well past 300k miles, and My Ford has 340k and is still the same truck now as when I bought it 7 years ago at 170k miles.. If you do a little maintenance, change your oil, STOP driving it and pull over if it starts to overheat, do your timing belts as needed– then most cars can last quite well if you don't hotrod them around. I had a 97 Kia Sportage 5spd 4×4 that I bought for $1000, great little car — but my brother borrowed it for the weekend and rolled it 3 times on a dirt road. lol.. So I made him pay me back for it… So because of that, I can't vouch for how long it would have lasted, although it already had around 200k miles at the time; with it being a manual, I bet it would have made it to 300k miles; it was a great little car, everything worked, 4 cylinder engine was trouble free and always started, even on the coldest days. I was pretty sad to see it go, because it was such a great value
2010 Kia Forte Ex made in Korea, all orginal with 180,000 miles, so far I’ve only had to replace minor things like a air sensor, brake pedal sensor, tail light bulbs did it myself for under $50
Had to clean fuel injectors because it wasn’t accelerating past 25-30mph that seemed to fix it and it’s been 2 years since, starts everytime all the time 😁 I’m running it till the wheels fall off.
