EV’s can’t work for me. I drive OVER 50,000 miles per year. 😢
A mechanic doesn't like EVs. Because he's out of a job if they take over. And he's wrong. The ranges over 275 miles is fine. A person can get anywhere on that. My economy gas car has a 360 mile range on a tank of gas. So, again, 275+ is fine. EVs are ready. Go ahead and buy them.
no one in their right mind cares about size of tank in ICE car. We talk actual efficiency because we are reasonable people. EV range wars are idiotic. You use max 50 miles a day but then you lag around 1000LBS of batteries JUST IN CASE you do a road trip twice a year and you can hold your pee for more than 3 hours.
The nasty thing that's hitting the electric car is defective chargers that turn vehicle into bricks.The damage can be controllers , main battery ,12v battery. Who is responsible, why is no one doing test on the chargers ,this issue can cost a owner thousands of dollars the the car maker may not cover this damage under warranty
One advantage I have found using my Tesla M3LR is that every day I awaken the car is full to its range without any stops in a nasty gas station ever. How many ICE vehicles are full every morning? Like the man said though, not everyone is in a position to enjoy first the added purchase costs or even home charging. Everything has its pluses and minuses, but for me, the primary advantage of my EV is its unparalleled “drivability.” I’ve owned a dozen and more top cars (BMW’s, Jaguars, Lincoln’s, Lexus’s, etc.) and none get near the pleasures of my Tesla.
For you EV haters, never drive one; you’ll never go back and you’ll have to eat a lot of crow.

They aren't worth it. When the battery goes bad the car's value has depreciated so bad it's not worth the $20,000 replacement.
By far the biggest problem is our grid cannot charge all these EVs. Not even close. It's just not gonna happen.
Electric cars are not here to save the planet, they are here to save the car company.
