I'm currently resurrecting an Aussie 1996 Mitsubishi magna (Made here and exported as the Verada and Diamante to the US) and was shocked to come across probably the most sensible piece of engineering I've ever seen. I thought I'd be dropping the transmission sump to replace the filter, but No!! It has an engine oil style screw on external filter, easily accessedfrom above, you don't even have to jack up the car. Kudo's to the Mitsubishi engineers who designed that transmission, they
smashed it out of the park!
I have a 2018 Mazda 6 Skyactive. Is that variable cyl mgmt ok?

If you want an honest mechanic and you live near Sauk Centre, Minnesota, go see Mitch Fiskness who owns F & W Exhaust, 1163 Getty St S, Sauk Centre, MN. I have known Mitch for a couple of decades now and he is as honest as the day is long and he is probably the only working Mechanic as good or maybe even better than Scotty . He also does high performance tuning at Mitches Dyno tuning nearby. Mitch is not just my friend, he is my Brotherman!
One would think that by 2022 engines would have engine oil primer pump right before cold start up.
