    I know you don't like stupid beauty covers on engines, Scotty, but I found the value of them today. I had the hood of the Camry open, checking the oil and doing the usual weekly minor maintenance, when suddenly the heavens opened. Had the cover not been there, the coils, which sit in the centre of the engine between the cam covers with the wiring connectors exposed, would have got wet. Not a good thing. So maybe covers aren't completely useless.

    Chevrolet Prizm/Pontiac Vibe is the best cheap car. Same as Corolla/Matrix but $1000 dead badge discount and another $1000 off if you find a manual.

    On the current model Corolla, standard is only available on the SE trim. I saw online a 2018 SE stick was manufactured in Mississippi whereas my automatic one was made in Canada

    piece of cake, I learned on an old ford pickup, where the shifter was on the column. yes, I’m ancient. lol

    Late '90s and early 2000s Corollas and Camrys have a design defect whereas the hubcaps fall off, so make sure they installed tightly
