The Dodge Demon is known for its brutal performance and was the most powerful production V-8 car in history. We all have watched the TopGear video where Matt LeBlanc drag races a Lamborghini Aventador with a Demon and destroys it over the quarter mile. Of course, that wasn’t fair competition since the V-12 in the Aventador S cranks out 729 horsepower compared to the Demon’s outstanding 840 ponies of peak power. However, this drag race video indicates that a V-10-powered Huracán Performante can outrun a Dodge Demon over a 1000-foot race – if it’s tuned properly.
