I cant wait for Nio to start selling over here. They started recruiting last year for their factories in the US. This is definitely a tesla killer. Not that I want tesla to fail. Its just hood to have options.
The battery swap idea for a nominal charge sounds great but it wouldn't work in Canada. Our thoroughly corrupt government would figure out a way to make that " nominal " charge punitively expensive and kill the whole idea. I'm sure the idea would work in less corrupt countries though.
Sounds even crazier than conventional EVs.
