In the 1980s, DMC created the now iconic DeLorean DMC-12 – a car known mainly for its role in the Back To The Future franchise where it was supposed to be an incredibly advanced sports car capable of time travel. However, shortly after, the company suffered and lost all credibility due to reliability issues ranging from leaky door hydraulics to major electrical issues, and as a result, the brand didn’t last long. However, their name has lived on thanks to the movie franchise and become a bit of a cult classic of sorts. Of course, owners must have a stable flow of money just to maintain these underpowered cars, but maybe instead people should just buy the successor.
