It is hard to think of a place where at least hybrid vehicles wouldn’t be capable. When built properly, the added power from an electric motor can help overcome most obstacles. While it does make them heavier using both a conventional gasoline or diesel engine and an electric motor, even vehicles that are only electrically assisted can power through harsh terrain because of the instantly available torque from the electric motor. However, some EV startups see every market as capable for electric use, including off road use. In fact, even major brands like Jeep have begun their push into off-road-ready EVs.
