I had a murder suicide happen next door to me. Very upsetting. I love life most of the time but life is a journey. I can't give up.

You nailed it dude. As a college teacher I learned a long time ago to shutdown and be alone. Out in nature, puttering on the car, painting my next masterpiece lol Whatever it is
I’m pretty A-social by nature which people find odd given my profession.
But yes, allow yourself time alone looking after you. We all need more of this
Talking is huge. And you’re right, it doesn’t always have to be a two way conversation
Be well

Hey Rich. SOS here just another day in Louisiana. Only you would understand. God Bless. Everyone should take a mental day each day versus saving those sick days. Wish I had listened to a co worker. ❤️

Everything happens in our lives, meant to happen. We have to go through it either to learn, to become stronger or else. Every single human being goes through something once in the while. There are 2 saying I like. "This too shall pass" and "Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.” Remember that. Be well GOD bless.

I suffered burn out in the automotive business. I worked as both a tech and parts counterman. They days a being a one man show handling up to three different makes of vehicles wore me down. I got to the point that when the telephone rang at home I would run the other way. I was very irritable. I wasn't sleeping. One day I just snapped, threw the keys to the building on the counter, and quit on the spot. I did side jobs for a couple of months. I went to work for a former tech who opened his own shop for a period. An opportunity to work for a new dealership came up and I went back to parts. That was a mistake. After 11 months I was laid off. I went and worked with my Dad laying stone for two years. I eventually ran my own landscaping business for 10 years. I needed a change from the automotive world.

Rich as always you opening up on this subject is unbelievably valuable to so many. I think you so much for doing these videos as having gone through 3 nervous breakdowns the most important thing I learned is I am not superman I can break and I did. The outcome of coming back to loving things again instead of hating was I found love of myself and from that I could once again love other things. The quiet time for me is the ocean the waves the sunshine the simplest things give me peace, time for yourself is paramount because if you can't love yourself you can't then honestly love others including those you have always loved. TY my friend for the honesty and open views you share you mate are a beautiful soul. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
