Porsche made its foray into the world of mainstream electric cars with the Taycan sedan a couple of years ago and the model line-up has evolved quite a bit since then. They introduced a base model with a rear-wheel-drive variant and then went on to add some practical wagons in the form of the Sport Turismo and Cross-Turismo. Currently, you can choose from 14 different configurations of the Taycan.

While the Cross Turismo went on sale a while back, Porsche decided to expand the Taycan range with the GTS line, which broke cover at the L.A. Auto Show in November last year. This wagon ditches the body cladding and combines the practicality of the Taycan Cross Turismo with the driving capabilities of the standard Porsche Taycan. Also, a Porsche spokesperson confirmed to CarAndDriver that the Taycan Sport Turismo is currently only coming in GTS guise to the U.S. market.
