Ha Ha 3M that's me, see if you want to know WHERE to repair say you're getting a matching numbers 1-off to be a show car lead wiping panel seams (mostly old cars) you should really JOIN A CAR CLUB there's old farts who have a garage full of bits and pieces they might tell you look at point X,Y and Z for rust if there's paint even new paint those fish tank cleaning magnet brushes there $2:50 a set get a 3M Sticky note on the magnet pop the magnet paper on paint no scratches if the magnet falls off there's a hidden repair without ripping the car apart great for initial appraisal.

You only need bondo glass when there’s an actual hole. Use that in conjunction with the piece of metal bridging material they give you. The fiberglass hairs help the bondo to adhere to the nooks and crannies. After sanding that, top it off with regular bondo. The bondo glass (sometimes called “hair”) is made specifically to provide structure, not finish.

My wife could’ve done this repair. I don’t think that’s a rust hole, maybe it’s cause Im working with POS vehicles. Nevertheless, nice repair/video.

Why apply body filler over the fiber glass filler. Isn't the glass filler enough to do the job?
