Whats your guys preference? Torque sricks or torque wrenches? I use on the daily torque sticks but will whip out the torque wrench if the customer has aftermarket wheels. #hondatech #dealership #dealertech #automotive #carrepair #cars #honda #harborfreight #amazontools #diy #review

Hate it when mechanics just trigger that thing away so no one with no air tools can ever take them off. I lifted my car before they broke loose

Torque sticks aren't calibrated…. they are so that you don't over torque, and that only works if you use them properly. At work, I ALWAYS use a torque wrench, if they lose a tire, that's in you…. just think about that.

Shouldn't you use both 🤔 The torque stick is so they aren't over torqued, and then the torque wrench is to torque them.

I've never thought of using torque sticks very smart.

Doesn't a torque stick loose its torque spec after a dozen or so uses? We push out anywhere from 20 to 40 vehicles a day and we always double torque with the wrench. One person goes first then the second guy checks the first guys torque…
