The nuclear car is a strange mention. I'm a big proponent of nuclear power as modern designs could safely and sustainably power the planet for 100,000 years, but I'd never want millions of cars carrying nuclear fuel onboard at high speeds. That would be insane. No reason not to power cars from a grid powered by nuclear power though. I like the Ionic 5. Enough range to take me where I want. Easy to charge overnight and it will charge in 18 minutes from a level 3. Not generic looking at all. I guess my only issue is that EVs are evolving at a breakneck pace. If I spend $50k on a car, I'm concerned that over the life of the loan new versions will come out which will radically reduce the value of my car.
I wont buy EV ever because they are bad to the envioroment as regular cars,theyre not exciting, ugly, heavy, and you cant hear anything
People literally believe in such things as klimate krisis and climate friendly cars. The term green is meaningless propaganda and the green industry a racket. Never before has new automotive propulsion technology needed coercion and gaslighting to sell it. I don't want it because it is not an improvement. You TV watchers can have it.
Having worked at the Idaho National Laboratory, I often saw the nuclear aircraft engines on display adjacent to the parking lot at the first Experienced Breeder Reactor (EBR-I)near Arco, Idaho, which is now a public museum. Maybe you could use pictures of these engines available online in your discussion of the problems associated with nuclear propulsion. I'm a big fan of your channel, enjoy your info-packed entertaining videos, & appreciate all of the time it must take to edit them. Best wishes.
How about aluminium graphene batteries, currently under development?
High fuel prices will get me to buy an EV (I'm almost there) along with cheaper Chinese EV's. E.g. BYD Atto 4.
