Polestar teased three new models, including the 5, for the first time back in September 2021. Almost one year later, a prototype version of the future Polestar 5 GT made its first appearance at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed where it will run up the iconic hill twice a day during the event in the “First Glance” group. A production version will arrive in 2024, next to the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 electric SUVs.
