The first-gen NSX was the equivalent to a fighter jet, but for the road. Not only just that, but it was also the first car to be built entirely out of aluminum. Even the legendary McLaren F1 was heavily inspired by the NSX’s timeless design. Back in the day, supercars were not as exciting as they are now, except for the NSX. This thing was wicked fast for the road, and the exhaust notes from the V-6 were terrific. The first NSX was unveiled at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show and was available only as a coupe until 1995 when a convertible variant was launched. A stock example of the 1991 Acura NSX is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer and this might be the best offer you can get to experience a 90s supercar.
