While riding my Sur Ron e-bike I encounter a homeless man residing in a public park full of families and children and claims to be the devil who has dethroned Jesus and pazuzu.
As I first ride by he gestures to go for a gun. Then rolls up on me with a “whats up”. Using the “kill em with kindness” approach, I engage in conversation which takes a weird turn as
he starts making claims he wants to take people out and even suggests murder for hire only after describing how he would take me out and not be arrested or have any consequence.
Another stark reminder of the dire mental health and homeless situation in Santa Monica, California.
I want to believe this is an act he puts on as a survival mechanism living in the streets of Los Angeles or is it? I cant help but think this is somebody’s baby boy.
Is this more testimony to why we need accessible Mental Health/Addiction health care for all and strict Gun Control Laws?
Is the 2nd amendment a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State? Or the right of the people to keep and bear Arms? Does that mean the US military being able to posses weapons to defend the nation?
Or is it an individual’s right to keep and bear arms, in the home for self‐ defense? Does that weapon stay IN THE HOME?
Or is it the right to purchase and carry an assault rifle and/or mass arsenal in public places?
How many more public shootings do we need to endure?
Do guns in the hands of unstable people KILL people?
Do we get rid of the unstable people or do we get rid of the guns? Do you own a gun?
Is it locked up and safely stored in your home?
Do you carry it with you at all times in fear?
Do your children know about it and where it is hidden?

This guy is intense. I hope someday we can get people who need help the help they need mentally, physically and spiritually.
This is amazing and so important for people to see that someone like this, and millions more, are not getting the help and services they need. And, in turn, could easily go to the store and purchase an assault rifle tomorrow. Your comments are hilarious and tis is brilliantly done. But, the message is clear. We need some serious changes and reform ASAP to our gun laws, and to helping people appropriately who are homeless and in need of services. We need to see these changes in action before the next tragedy.
