The folks from Carwow have brought an exciting drag race between two unique cars from different generations. On the left, we have a 10-year old 997.2-gen Porsche 911 Turbo S,. Next to that, a BMW M5 CS is in its current generation for the 2022 model year. They are “bonkers-hardcore-performance-thingy,” as Mat Watson wants to call them. But there are quite some differences between the two, since the M5 CS is a family sedan and the 911 Turbo S is a sports car. Also, on paper, the BMW has all the power to school the Porsche down the quarter-mile, but can the 911 Turbo S from 2012 really keep up? Let’s dive in.
