As far as high-performance cars go, the Mercedes-AMG One is one of the most impressive technological feats of our time. Unfortunately, it’s for that very reason that Mercedes management now regrets indulging in the ambitious project. While putting an F1 powertrain into a road-going car sounds great and it has been done in the past, apparently, Mercedes management did not account for all the challenges caused by adapting a racing engine for road use.
