I’ve had a Prius prime I and got 88mph and i had 50k + when i sold it my wife health was such we had to change to a larger size vehicle
The previous Prius that I had. Had 250000 miles on it before i traded it in on the prime i loved both and on the prime what i loved about it is that on short errands less than about 25 miles I would use zero gasoline
But if I wanted to make a 300 mile trip to see my family no recharge anxiety just fill it up and go in the hybrid mode
The best of both worlds
I like the idea of a hybrid vehicle, but I recently did a little research and the gas savings is not that great. I have a 2021 Subaru outback. Similar size vehicles like the Honda CRV hybrid get better mileage but maybe 10mpg tops. Doesn’t seem worth the aggravation frankly to trade in the car etc.
you buy a $100k+ X5 PHEV, I doubt you care about gas prices or charging the thing. Looks good on you drive way though.
I JUST WANT A 1968 CAMARO SS AND A 1968 CHEVY ELCOMENO SS SIMPLE AND NO COMPUTER OR CATALYTIC CONVERTER. EVERY THING TODAY IS JUNK AND MOST OF THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE IN CHINA VERY LITTLE FROM JAPAN AND CHINA POLUTS MORE THAN ALL THE COUNTRIES COMBINED AND IF WE GO TO WAR WITH THEM IT'S GOING TO BE THE DIRTIEST NUCLEAR WAR. I WORKED IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IT'S THE BIGGEST WASTE. ON PAPER THEY MAKE IT LOOK GOOD ON PAPER JUST LIKE A CAR STICKER PRICE OR MPG I DROVE MANY NEW VEHICLES AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE STICKER I DROVE VERY MODEST ALWAY WAY OFF.

Well ,I saw your appeal to Car makes to supply a EV or Hybrid to test. SO FORD gave one to a 3-D printing YOUTUBER. Some one who knows Nothing about cars, Why ? Because FORD ,now expects customers of its cars to print their own accessory's for the car. Expensive P.O.S. Ford ,cheaply built and you the consumer have to make you own options.
I will never buy electric, no way..
You asked… I do not like electric cars, & hybrids are close to them. We do not have what it will take to change over to full electric or even a 50/50 mix. . . unless you are willing to have a nuclear recharging station every 50 miles. How can power be added with no station?
