Sometimes you just need to know when to get help…
Been a long time subscriber and always look forward to man cave Tuesday , this weeks episode was GOLD ! That walk through the bike shop was fantastic π . All the best Mark !!!!!
Awesome, was awaiting the outcome for steering damper bolt. Good shit, got it sorted and gave it a good crack. I was living in Vic driving trucks, lived in Altona, Preston and Reservoir. Had DRZ400E and a two stroke RGV250 vj22 while there. Absolutely loved my time there. Lots of good bastards there
Hi Mark, I think 'Easy Outs' are a misnomer and should be known as 'Never Easy Outs' as they more often than not break. I found the copper tube method you mentioned and this guy makes it look easy: https://youtu.be/-8N0y0jVAng Keep up the entertaining content.. all the best from the Sandy Wastelands of WA
Congrats Mark good effort with the bolt, bloody painful. At the bike shop 27:50 with the Blue Enfield u mentioned to keep an eye on this bike, do tell do tell ππππ safe riding all ππ»ππ»
If you struggling that much, take it to a engineering shop and get the bolt spark erosion/eroded out on their spark erosion machine . It will take a hour or two in a engineering shop/factory it wouldn't cost that much as I've been in similar situation with head bolts snapping in engine heads … only ez outs to use are the snap on or blue point ones everything else is just junk …
Use air duster in a can and turn it upside down and it becomes a freeze spray π
Left hand drills mate, lot of the time they spin out.
Only option after a broken drill or ez out is a good carbide drill bit.
If youβve got room to access drill em out as much as possible, Iβve literally used a pick to remove the remnants of a bolt plenty of times as I was taught that by an old machinist wizard i grew up around.
Thanks for the heads up about Essendon MAM, I'll add them to my list of nearby retailers, I prefer to shop local where I can.
Hi Mark, great man cave Tuesday as always. Glad you've got sorted with a job.. Keep up the good work cheers buddy. π€ποΈππππππ
