Mazda has a whole lot going on with the Rotary engine making a comeback and the bold plans to move the Mazda brand even further upmarket, which was kicked off with the launch of the all-new CX-60.
With the CX-60 being Mazda’s most powerful vehicle ever and plans to launch a new RWD Mazda 6 powered by the brand’s new inline-six, it seemed as if Mazda was all set to take on both the premium and performance segment. Factor in Mazda’s already sporty handling, all-new powerful engine, and RWD, and it’s hard not to scream Mazdaspeed. But, as it turns out, the RWD Mazda6 isn’t going happen and Mazda isn’t looking to re-launch a full-blown performance division.
