God no.
This is not a good option and truly causes more rust then it's worth in the end. You will go from a small hole fixed to the whole bedside rusted out from the foam holding moisture. I know this 100% because I did this years ago and ruined a truck.
This is a stupid idea. Expanding foam is open cell you’re literally inviting more moisture into your vehicle and not to mention there’s absolutely no reinforcement so if you get in a wrecked you’ll get rekt big time due to no structural integrity. Do it right with fiberglass resin and bondo

The closed cell spay foam will not hold any water.
