    I owned a '61 Corvair. The lightweight front end was a problem, especially on snowy streets, which left me with precious little steering ability. The car didn't handle poorly with that one exception. The interior of the car was cold in the winter, one drawback of air-cooled cars. My overall rating of the car would be "just OK." Nothing special.
