The fault could cause excessive wear on the rear tyres, possibly resulting in a puncture, according to the manufacturer.
The affected vehicles are stamped Model Year 2020.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “The previous replacement of the rear axle trailing arm clamping nuts (as part of the recent recall REC-001635) may have caused a misalignment of the rear axle assembly.
“This could result in excessive wear to the rear tyres, and may result in a sudden flat tyre and subsequent loss of vehicle control … A loss of vehicle control will increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
