Everyone knows that “Motorcycle” is synonymous with “Freedom” … but why? Motorbikes have the same dynamics as bicycles and go to the same places as cars – what’s so free about that?

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance:

Fair warning – this is a challenging read. Asking what makes freedom “free” is child’s play compared to Pirsig’s query: what makes good “good”? Fascinating!

"Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" is my favorite read of all time. I was assigned the reading in highschool and blew it off but went back to it later in life. A beautiful book that discusses thought and philosophy. So good.

Honestly some of the best content on YouTube, hell on the whole internet. I watch pieces on Harleys or worn out gear, not because of the subject matter but because this is genuine smart, clever, entertaining and too often profound content. Well done. Really well done.

It's a public road… leading to a public place where anyone can go. True! BUT not everyone goes there now, do they? It takes courage to be free.

If I could fly (or pilot a plane) I would. But I can't so I ride instead. To me, that's as close as I can get to it.

Hey Ryan, @0:34 you pronounced "epistemic" wrong.
But great contents as always, I like your motorcycling math more than your lectures. 😉
