    Hey guys, why is there no code for the integrated power module? I'm a music teacher not a mechanic. But, you would think that with all those high tech computers in the car it would trip a code, no?

    My sister has one of those jeep Cherokees. She replaced her integrated module a couple of years ago. Her jeep is fairly new" brand new when she bought it". She just replaced her rear differential after eighty thousand miles. Her module costs her close to eight hundred dollars. Her differential cost her just over fifteen hundred dollars. Now her transmission is slipping. She is looking for something new so she can still get something for it as a trade in. I would never buy one. I am taking Scotties advice.

    I've got that same engine in my dakota… ive got the same issues with electrical short

    In 17 years of auto repair, I've yet to find a weak fuel pump making a lean condition, it's always some PITA vacuum leak or a MAF reading wrong. Lean codes are the MOST annoying thing to diagnose.

    Crap? It has 150000+. Not bad I say. Could have spent more time diagnosing the issue and see if its a connector issue rather that just scrapping the module.
