The Toyota FJ Cruiser was discontinued in 2014 for the U.S. market due to dwindling sales. While some may see it as a sales failure, we personally think that it’s more of the result of bad timing. The FJ Cruiser was released shortly before the 2008 recession hit and the demand for SUVs wasn’t as high as today. Now though, due to the rise in popularity in off-roaders such as the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler, a lot of enthusiasts miss the FJ Cruiser, which has led to low-mileage examples such as this to fetch high prices.
