The Ford Bronco came out in 2020 and it was one of the most anticipated launches of the year. While it ticked all the boxes and seemed to be the first true-blue threat to the Jeep Wrangler, it lacked out on one thing that was a deal-breaker for many folks – a missing V-8 engine. It probably seemed like a fine decision then because the Wrangler didn’t offer one either, but Jeep played a party pooper and announced a V-8 Wrangler 392 hours before the Bronco’s debut!

Now, the company has decided to rectify that chink in its armor – to a certain extent – by coming up with a more potent V-6 engine. Ford is yet to give out all the details, but we do know that a 3.0-liter V-6 will do the duties that will produce over 400 horses. A lot of tweaks have been made to the suspension setup as well. As for the transmission, there’s no manual gearbox on offer, unfortunately. Just a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
