Everyone knows that Audi R8 lives on borrowed time. A successor will happen, but not as we know it:->art193913] reports suggest that the next R8 will drop the current V-10 engine and will be offered with an electric powertrain. That decision comes because Audi wants to go all-electric by 2026.
However, until that happens, Audi is preparing one last hooray for the current generation R8. Our spy photographers caught an R8 test mule testing during winter conditions and it is believed to be the R8 RWD GT.
