New cars are ugly as hell and made to make women happy
Loved my 1967 GTO. Wish I still had it.
Personally I find most older cars to be ugly and bland.
Except classic muscle cars. They can be pretty cool.

I wonder how same new cars really are. Those cars that were boxy and manly from the 50s 60s and 70s also were some of the safest cars on the road. Their frames were actually steel. These so-called safe cars that are gender neutral, you hit one of them or you hit something with one of them and they fold up like an accordion. That is what we have now have and what we call safe. Cars back in the day you could hit a moose and it may dent your car but you could go on your merry way. Nowadays if you run over an earthworm your whole front end alignment is thrown out. You have to go get the computer adjusted and that usually cost you about $65 or more. I’ll gladly take the car as of yesterday over the crap that they give us today. I don’t care women are the top buyers. Even they want cars with class and personality. I won’t beautiful card. They don’t want boxy homogenized cars. When you have a Kia and the jeep renegade sitting side-by-side and they look like they could be cousins, then you got a problem. Individuality. That’s what car companies used to have. That is what they don’t have anymore.
Finally somebody comes out and admits that modern cars (plus most motorcycles) are UGLY AS SH*T.
Even electric cars are homogeneous. I guess its the future of cars, it may also be the future of flight but I wonder, what are we leaving behind, individuality?
