My 01 gti had massive TRANSMISSION failure it's was CVT it would get stuck in 1st and not shift gears no matter how many times I turn the car off or on it would sit there like that for hours and they couldn't figure it out

Went from a Golf GTI to a Honda Civic Si, I liked both.
A few months ago, I bought at 2001 Civic lx with 69k miles on it and it has been treating me good. I got the recalls taken care of right away. And luckily I have the 5 speed manual so I am not dealing with any of the AT issues. Here's to hoping that it lasts many years!
