Good job friend! Thanks for the ideas – can't wait to do some of that on my 2003 Caddy. Cheers!
This was a really great job. I have never done automotive body work before so this video was very helpful to me. I will watch this again before attempting this on my car. Like most people I can't afford $3000 repair job on a '08 Avenger. I just want the holes filled and have it presentable. I'm a wood worker so I'm sure I can apply the same sanding techniques used there on the bondo. I will use the black bed liner paint all around like you did as well. Thank you for providing this video for us. Although it's not for a restoration fix, it'll suffice for general purposes like inspections! BRAVO
I "fixed" my 76 buick regal with expanding foam and bondo.. wasn't about to pay thousands for a fun car! Still a work a progress
I do body work as part of my detailing business…you did an amazing job bro
Did you clean instead the rockers? Or just left it as is and put the spray foam in.
PS: Just realized your in the New England states. I consider that an extension of us East Coasters (I'm in NB, CDN). Brothers from another Mother. Great vid. Going to do this today on my van.
Do you have any electrical issues with the truck? my son bought a 2005 has a lot of electrical issues brake light and reverse light don’t work ?
did you only use 80 grit on your sander?. Great job!!!
This was excellent! Not a mechanic by any means but this was explained in such a simple and easy way that I’m gonna use it to repair the rockers on my 2005 Chevy Cavalier! Thanks for the video 💯
nice man, just what I was looking for! Just need something there to fill the holes and shit so you can put something over it and paint/seal it in! 😀
thank you!! body shops were charging me $800 to patch up my rocker. will try this myself on my 3rd gen 4runner
