The rear suspension could collapse, according to the manufacturer.
The affected vehicles are stamped Model Years 2012-2014.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear suspension may fail in extreme driving situations. Should the suspension fail, this will impact vehicle handling which could result in a loss of vehicle control.
“A loss of vehicle control will increase the risk of serious injury or death to occupants and/or other road users, and damage to property.”
