Would you not want to put the front wheel brake on a bit as you lift to stop it rolling? Just way I'd instinctively always do it, given you are lifting and trying to apply force way it wants to roll. [More method 2, the back break method :)].
This is me
Oh no!…my bike fell…yeah no shit!
"This is a 500lbs bike, do like this and it's light as a feather. Btw I do deadlifting" Man, I did as you did and it didn't move at all! 😂
that was easy as fffff- Pie
3:10 to 3:30..It's more about focusing on moving it HORIZONTALLY…versus ..lifting it. It's weird..but trust me…you'll get the idea..the more you do it.
Just had my fourth lesson this morning. Finally managed to do controlled braking from 50mph/70kmh and felt on top of the world. Then as the lesson ends I drop the bike when parking by having the handlebars turned and using the front brake.
And the thing is I know not to do that but it’s not in the muscle memory yet snd I wasn’t thinking.
Heavy BMW GS F750. Not the biggest bike but big to me!
Wanted to say thanks for this video. Just took my first solo motocamping trip with some light trail riding. I dumped my bike in the woods and popped my left hamstring. Following your advice I was able to perform a one-legged lift. You're a life saver.
I dropped my new bike twice in one day practicing u turns and stop and go corners I honestly hurt my back picking it up the wrong way should have checked out a video first before attempting but now I know thanks for the video
