The Toyota 4Runner is currently in its fifth generation – and we have to admit that, after more than 11 years on the market, it is long overdue for an update. But, a sixth generation 4Runner is still years away, so Toyota is still playing with what it has. For the 2022 model year, the 4Runner has received a series of exterior updates – nothing major though, and most importantly the addition of a new TRD Sport model.
