What makes the 2022 Lexus RC F Fuji Edition special
In 2021, the RC F Fuji Edition was offered in an exclusive Arctic Blast Satin paint.
Now, for the 2022 model year Lexus opted for an Electric Surge finish – a unique blue paint with a semi-matte finish.
For the interior, Lexus opted for blue Alcantara-trimmed seats plus Alcantara accents on the shift knob and steering wheel. Lots of blue carbon fiber ornaments adorn the cabin, while F logo scuff plates and serialized badging will further help to identify the car.
The 2022 RC F Fuji Edition also features a titanium exhaust and Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes. These, combined with the extensive use of carbon fiber, have improved the aerodynamics and reduced the car’s total weight.
As a result the 0 to 60 mph sprint is made in 3.96 seconds – down from the RC F’s standard 4.2 seconds.
The engine remains unchanged: a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. Top speed also remains unchanged at 170 mph.
It will go on sale in the fall of 2021 and while Lexus said nothing about the prices yet, we expect it to be priced similar to the 2021 edition: $98,225.
