    Yes, lithium batteries are prone for fire. There are way more efficient and safe batteries in existence; such as sodium batteries and more.

    What is wrong with U.S. car manufacturers? Can they even make a decent vehicle anymore? I’ve always loved motorcycles and years ago I read an article talking about Honda motorcycling, but it also covered the difference in car companies in Japan and the U.S. The main points I remember, concerning Honda at least. Honda hire top engineering graduates. America? Maybe third tier. Honda engineers start in the racing program before working in manufacturing. Head of Honda was a former engineer. American car companies, business graduates and bean counters run the ship.
