Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online classic and collector car auction site driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1966 Shelby Cobra replica built using an Everett-Morrison kit and powered by a Chevrolet LT1 engine.
According to AutoHunter, the build was started in 2004 by the seller’s brother-in-law and completed in 2012. Between 2012 and 2020, the Cobra was driven around on weekends and then passed on to the seller’s sister, who added only 177 miles.

The body is finished in Black Cherry Red paint with two white stripes stretching over the top and features classic Cobra styling cues including a hood scoop, twin roll hoops and Cobra emblems.
In the cockpit, the car houses black leather-upholstered bucket seats, a 3-spoke steering wheel with leather trim, and a shifter mounted on a carpeted center console.
The engine, a Tuned Port Injection 5.7-liter LT1 V8, came from a 1995 Chevrolet Corvette. The seller notes the engine had 19,000 miles on it when it was installed. It’s linked with a Richmond 6-speed manual transmission.
The odometer shows 5,451 miles on this build.
