Did Quad Lock destroy my iPhone? Well I think it did and here is the story of why I think it did and the conversations I had with Quad Lock over this issue.
Let me know your thoughts and experiences with Quad Lock, good and bad, because lets be honest its a great mount but they just need to fix the vibration issue and hopefully they have done that now with the dampener. Only time will tell, but I hope they do fix the issues because I actually think it’s a great idea and I loved it until the issues arose I am just wary about putting my phone on the bike again with the Quad Lock mount. We will see….
Please note this is no just an issue with Quad Lock, it has happened with some other mounts too.

I usually mount my phone on the handlebars for navigation and have read about how mobile phones get stuffed so kind have stopped doing that. It’s really bad that Quadlock knows of the problem and the least they could do was give you the dampener and case for free. Mate, if you are using it mainly for navigation you should check out Beeline gps system
I ordered the quad lock with accessories in November 2019 and still haven’t received it. So I have no idea if it works. Well actually I do. It doesn’t work for me at the moment 😂
Hey bro. My iPhone 11 was buggered. Was under warranty and was fixed no probs. I don’t really blame quadlok but more apple for building such delicate stuff. I’ve seen the dampener but I’m not risking it again.

I really hate when a company does anything possible to pass the buck. It separates a great company from a not so great one
I use the ram mount. That is why I try not to do reviews till I have used something for almost a year.
I'm currently using the Quadlock without the damper…. dissapointed i have to buy ANOTHER thing to make it work… they should be free to be previous purchasers!
is the vibration dampener working ?
You can't really blame quadlock tho. Any other phone mount would've done that. My ram mount broke my iphone x so I got an iphone 12 with the quadlock dampner. Haven't had the issue since.
(had the iphone x on my r6 for over 10k miles with the ram mount and never had an issue. As soon as I switched to husqvarna with a single cylinder, the camera broke after 200 miles.) You should honestly give the dampner a try if you haven't been using any phone mount
Sorry to hear you had this problem. In April and again in October of 2020 My Quad Lock for Iphone 11 ProMax destroyed both of my phone cameras. My phone was under warranty and Iphone did replace both of them at no cost to me. My experience with Quad Lock Customer service was exactly the same as you described it and I have not received my damper since November when I contacted them. I just washed my hands of them and will not do business with them anymore. Quad Lock actually denied that it had anything to do with the mounting system on both occasions. Not a good company at all. Just as a reference for those who will buy Quad lock after watching this video and reading the comments my first phone lasted 3 trips @ 35 miles before it broke and my replacement phone lasted 1 35 mile trip before it broke. Do Not Use Without the Damper for sure.
