The first guy with the truck… this is why I liked the old days where you had analog odometers. Yes, in some respects they were easier to mess with, and many newer vehicles have ways to counter people from altering the mileage. This is one good reason to buy a car that has been taken to a dealership though, because they will check the mileage and verify it. If the mileage or anything has been modified, they won't take it in on trade, so that's one plus side to buying from a reputable car dealer.

Can you recommend a scanner for around $250 to $500.00. I really appreciate your help. I have a 2021 highlander hybrid. 2011 GMC Sierra 1500. And my favorite vehicle a 1999 Honda Accord V6 with 260,000 miles. Original engine only timing belt change and motor mount changed.
