The Mercedes shows people how shit can really be like if you spend the money on labor. That silver ones done nice. I would not of painted the red one either . It’s worth more as a survivor.
Over engineering and poor engineering are seperate problems. The throw away era sucked, early and mid 70s Fords were the poster children but the others were there too…Chrysler products like Omni were just as bad as Pintos and Vegas. Even Mercedes. The music was really beginning to suck too. "Progress". Love the channel my friend, uh Pete!
Why the downvotes, guy is honest and spending much time. Pete is no more different than the rest of us in one way or another.
For some reason Mercedes from the 1970's rust far more than their earlier cars. I know very little about Mercedes, but have seen some particularly rusty seventies cars. Undercoating as it ages is not an old cars friend 🙁
