Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 2020 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG-S coupe featuring a Renntech Stage II turbocharger upgrade for its 4.0-liter bi-turbocharged V8 engine.
“The W205-chassis C-Class first launched in 2014 and utilized a new Modular Rear Architecture platform leveraging aluminum and high-strength steel,” the auction sight notes on the coupe’s listing. “A refresh came about for the 2019 model year that made LED headlights and LED daytime running lamps standard equipment.”
This 2020 C63 AMG example is finished in Diamond White Metallic and has been performance-customized by Renntech, an AMG-derived tuning company that has partnered with Mercedes-Benz since 1989.
Equipped with the AMG Night Package, the body features a high-gloss black wing, front bumper trim, rocker panel accents, sideview mirror caps and black chrome exhaust outlets.
“Additionally, an AMG Aerodynamics Package adds special aero treatment to the exterior, and the Exterior Lighting Package brings an LED intelligent lighting system, adaptive high beams, illuminated star logo and more,” the ad says.
The interior houses black and white 14-way adjustable Nappa leather bucket seats with matching door panels and center console. Carbon fiber accents are found throughout.
“The suite of infotainment connectivity for this model is extensive, featuring a multimedia package with command navigation, voice control, and 13 surround-sound speakers.”
Wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and driver-assistance aids like active lane, emergency stop and steering assist are included.
Power comes from a 709-horsepower 4.0-liter bi-turbocharged V8 upgraded with a Stage II turbocharger and connected to an AMG Speedshift 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission.
