Hi friends,
Another video this week – I’m going out a limb.
The topic of mental health. It’s a big one. A delicate one. Yet a lot of us struggle with it.
After just having Men’s Mental Health week, and with a lot of the other awareness campaigns of the day, it’s talked about a lot more. And it’s great.
So I’ve put this small one together to speak a little about my journey with it, and how being in the bush has helped me manage it.
I hope any of you out there struggling with something can find some peace and be shown the help we all deserve and need to be able to carry on in life and live it to the fullest.
Below are some links and numbers to various lifelines for anyone that needs a good chat or some help.
Thanks for watching this one. See you on the next.

Fantastic mate, heart and soul video.
I hope this gets picked up and a lot of blokes take the time to watch and take it in…if not for themselves then for mates they know…thanks.
Best thing I love is camping, the one person I want to take camping, I found out hates camping. Thank God for good mates. I also have learnt to solo camp & love my own company. You're a bit rough 'round the edges mate, but you're a very wise man.
Cheers to this one, Matt 🍻 The more limelight this subject gets the better, onya 🤝
Amazing to me how a good night or two around a roaring fire, be it alone or with mates can rejuvenate the mind and body!! Rain on canvas helps too 🥰
Great vid. Needs to be more awareness for men's mental health.
I'm a struggler myself and lost my best mate to the black dog just over a year ago, so know to well the struggles.
Don't be scared to reach out guys. It's ok to talk or seek help 👍
Great topic fella. I really enjoy your content too
Definitely 👍
Well done mate. Going camping or a day out in the bush is something I need on a regular basis. The Japanese have a saying which translates to "forest bathing" which I think applies. A bit of bush tv or sitting by a creek does wonders .
Great video brother. Keep the conversation going. It helps a lot cheers Trav.
